Park For Notifications

When a Bridge Operator Console user parks a call for a given extension, the extensions phone will receive a notification message, and optional sound message if specified on the connector server.  At this point answering the parked call is as simple as picking up the handset, or clicking the dial button.

Reduces the need for paging after park
Makes parking possible in situation where overhead paging is not allowed(HIPAA)
Will not interrupt a current call the user may be on
Time stamp notification so they don't pick up a different call an hour later

The phone message will contain

The time the call was parked
A dial option for the park position of the call
A dial option for the person who parked the call
A prompt showing park position, and parked by extension

Park For Extension Group

Included in the Group Messaging and Paging Add on is the ability to park a call for an entire extension group.  When one member unparks the calls, the notification will disappear from the other phones automatically.



BOC Forward Notification

In the event that a Bridge Operator Console user forwards a given extensions phone for a specified duration, the phone will receive both a notification of the forward, or a notification of the cancelation of a forward.  The user will also receive an optional sound message if specified on the connector server.

The phone message will contain

A title bar showing whether it was forwarded or unforwarded
Details about who did the forward operation on the given phone
Details about what operation was done
Details about when the operation will automatically expire
A prompt showing which extension performed the operation on the given phone
A button to unforward the phone
A button to call the user who forwarded the phone

911 Dial Notification

Bridge Operator Console allows you to configure a list of phones to receive a notification when a phone dials 911.  When configured users in this group will
receive phone notification and an optional sound if configured on the connector server.

User to User Message

Bridge Operator Console users will have menu option upon right clicking on a given extension allowing them to send a message to that phone.

 

Upon clicking they are presented with an box in which they can type a message to send to the selected phone.  The message length will be kept short, like a cell phone sms.  Once sent, the phone will display the message with details about who sent it.

Group Phone Message (Optional Add On)

Bridge Operator Console users are able to send group text messages to lists of predefined phones on the server.  The server add on for group paging and messaging is sold as an additional feature, while the ability to page or message 1 phone is included for free.

Group Messaging to Extension Groups

User to User Paging

Bridge Operator Console users now have the ability to page another users phone.  This is done using multicast, and won't use either user's phone line or interrupt an existing call.

Paging in Progress popup will start and give the user a 10 second window in which to speaker their message to the receiving party.  You can add more time, and end early at any point.  When over, both phones should return to a normal state.

Bridge Operator Console users are able to send group paging broadcasts to lists of predefined phones on the server.  The server add on for group paging and messaging is sold as an additional feature, while the ability to page or message 1 phone is included for free.

The Group Phone Paging won't use any user's phone line or interrupt an existing call.

Paging in Progress popup will start and give the user a 10 second window in which to speaker their message to the receiving parties.  You can add more time, and end early at any point.  When over, all phones should return to a normal state.

Group Paging to Extension Groups

 

Group Phone Call Parking (Optional Add on)


Bridge Operator Console users are able to park a call for all members of a given extension group.  Each phone will receive a chime and a screen displaying information about the parked call.  When one of the phone takes the call off park, the other phone screens are notified, and put back to their previous view.  This can be a nice alternative to a hunt pilot transfer which rings the phones over and over.

DTMF Dialer and Button Assistant 

The DTMF Dialer and Button Assistant can help perform 2 functions for Bridge Operator Console users.

The first function is for sending DTMF digits while on a call.  This is useful when dealing with an IVR where the user needs to press buttons for menu options.  The user can also send an entire string of choice 1 second apart with the box show at the top of the form.

The second function allows the user to automate the click of any of the keys listed in the "Click Phone Keys" section.  These button clicks will happen regardless of whether the user is on a call or not.  They can be used to perform a variety of functions.

Mute the phone
Pressing any softkey, including conference or join
Changing the phone volume
Clicking phone line buttons
